Focus is what makes us concentrate on that specific thing we want to see. Hmm, for example, sometimes you’ve probably written without enough light or with a light shining in another direction. In the best case, the words got jumbled together, making the message unclear, or you strained your eyes trying to write in that poor lighting. In both cases, it was a waste of time and even harmful to your physical well-being.
The focus… but, what do you want to tell us?
Focus. You can probably guess what I’m going to talk about. If not, I’ll help you. A spotlight in a dark room illuminates a specific point. When we use a lamp to study, what we’re doing is focusing on what we want.
If we apply this to other areas, the result is the same. When we have an online business, it’s important to stay focused because otherwise, what will happen is like at the beginning: we either waste time or get stressed.
That’s how important it is — it’s discussed in Emotional Intelligence, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and in all the new and old mentalist trends.
Productivity and Focus
The more the lamp points to the place we want, the better we’ll see what we intend to see. Therefore, we’ll be much more focused and more productive with the task at hand.
You can improve your tasks and your attitude if you direct your mind toward the desired focus. When you focus, everything becomes easier.
It’s interesting how, when a topic interests or concerns you at a given moment, everything you see and hear suddenly seems to revolve around that very subject you’re focused on.
E.g. Imagine you want to learn something specific. I don’t know… making natural cosmetics. Well, in no time you start seeing recipes, courses, products, etc., where you didn’t notice them before. That’s how the mind works. It finds a white spot to expand from, and it will—just like a spotlight (😉 hehe).
